Latin SPONY Songwriter Pitch-A-Thon: New York
SPONY (Songwriter’s Pitch-a-Thon of New York) is having a special edition Latin music event on Thursday, July 17th.
SPONY provides songwriters an opportunity to pitch one song on CD to an industry-guest panel. On July 17th that panel will include:
• The President of Wu-Tang Latino Records who is looking for Urban Latin.
• The Co-President of Sunflower Entertainment who is looking for Bachata, Merengue, Salsa, Tropical, and Urban.
• The President of The Society Firm Group who is looking for all styles Latin.
• An independent music supervisor working with MTV who is looking for all Latin genres for placement in visual media (TV, film, promos, ads). Originality is key.
Lyrics can have some English, but must be primarily in Spanish.
