The Ghent Film Festival
34th Annual Ghent Film Festival (Flanders International Film Festival-Ghent) will take place October 9-20, 2007. This festival was established as a students' film festival, and has since developed into one of Europe's most prominent film events. More than 200 films will be shown at Kinepolis Gent, Capitole, Sphinx, Studio Skoop and Arts Centre Vooruit. This year, the festival will host concerts by Gustavo Santaolalla, Mychael Danna, and Harry Gregson Williams and the 7th Annual World Soundtrack Awards will take place on October 20th.
