The Recording Academy Honors: Memphis
The Recording Academy Honors acknowledges those whose outstanding achievements and contributions have significantly enriched the music community and our community at-large. The Memphis Chapter of the Recording Academy will honor Booker T. & The MGs, Irma Thomas, Willie Mitchell and Knox Phillips, who will receive the President's Merit Award. The black-tie celebration will take place at the Memphis Cook Convention Center in Memphis at 6:00 p.m.
