UCLA Extension Presents . . . Film Scoring Dialogues: Los Angeles
In this seminar, award-winning composer Graeme Revell, along with moderator Doreen Ringer Ross, Vice President of Film and TV Relations at BMI, explores and analyzes aesthetic issues in composing to picture, drawing on his vast experience scoring feature films. Illustrating his lecture with film and audio clips from his own diverse work, Mr. Revell details a range of processes such as presenting compositional sketches, developing dramatic themes, supervising orchestral scoring sessions and collaborating with directors.
