SPONY Songwriter Pitch-A-Thon
SPONY songwriter pitch-a-thon will be held at the BMI New York offices at 320 W. 57th Street, 6:00–8:00pm; CD Check-in at 5:00pm. Open to all - $20 Admission Fee (Cash Only). Fee entitles you to enter one song (Limit one song per person).
Guest judges will be the A&R Manager for Motown Records who is looking for "hot" urban, as well as songs in the style of Erykah Badu; the Director of Film and TV music for Cherry Lane Music Publishing who is looking for "radio-ready" songs in all styles for a variety of film and TV projects; and an independent music supervisor who is looking for teen-oriented pop for a special project.
