BMI to Host Songwriter Pitch-A-Thon

SPONY songwriter pitch-a-thon will be held at the BMI New York offices at 320 W. 57th Street, 6:00–8:00pm; CD Check-in at 5:00pm. Open to all - $20 Admission Fee (Cash Only). Fee entitles you to enter one song (Limit one song per person).

This month there are TV opportunities galore!! The Director of Music for the Oxygen Network will be part of the judges panel. She is looking for music which is edgy, bold and infectious. Oxygen's programming is fairly edgy, and sometimes a little risque, so music is needed to complement that. Also, the Music Supervisor for the hit soap, "All My Children" will be with us looking for Rock, Alt-Rock, and Emo-Rock.
