BMI Songwriters Workshop with Jason Blume: Nashville

Generally held the second Tuesday of each month from 1-5pm in the BMI Nashville offices, the BMI Songwriters Workshop with Jason Blume is open to all songwriters who are serious about and committed to successful commercial songwriting. At each workshop, Blume examines the components of hit songs and covers a variety of topics including song structure, lyric and melody writing techniques, musical hooks, writing from the heart for the radio, and effective demo recording, among others. This month's topic: Composing Memorable Melodies. There is no cost to attend, but seating is limited so advance registration is required.
