Invitation-only awards presentation honoring the songwriters and publishers of the most played Urban songs on U.S. radio and television. The BMI ICON Award will be presented to The Godfather of Soul James Brown in recognition of his contributions to music and the music business. Club Tropigala at the Fontainebleau Hilton Resorts & Towers in Miami.
