BMI Artist Workshop: Nashville

GETTING THE DEAL: Selected participants will have an opportunity to play a sample of their work and receive feedback from A&R reps, producers and artists. Topics will include: The importance of the songs * How producers and A&R reps find artists * The responsibilities of an A&R rep * The responsibilities of a producer * The importance of the live performance in securing a deal * How much an artist’s ability to write songs influences the signing. Panelists tba. 3:00—5:00 pm in the BMI Nashville office (10 Music Square East). The workshop is open to all on a first-come, first-served basis.
