SHOF Abe Olman Scholarship & CD Release Party: New York

The BMI-sponsored Abe Olman Scholarship for Excellence in Songwriting is given annually by the Songwriters Hall of Fame to honor five young composers and lyricists. Winners receive a plaque and a check for $1,200. There will also be a CD release party for the new SHOF CD Compilation entitled The Best of the Songwriters Hall of Fame New Writers Showcase: Volume 4. The CD contains 12 original songs by aspiring songwriters who were featured in the four SHOF New Writer Showcases held in 2005 in New York City. Scholarship presentation and party will be held at The Cutting Room (19 W.24th Street).
