Recording Academy Honors 2005: Seattle

The Pacific Northwest Chapter of the Recording Academy is proud to announce its Recording Academy Honors 2005, honoring music advocate Kate Becker, seminal garage band the Kingsmen, world-renowned jazz musician and educator Julian Priester, and legendary record label Sub Pop Records. The Recording Academy Honors is the highest honor bestowed by a Chapter and acknowledges those whose outstanding achievements and contributions have significantly enriched the Northwest music community and the community at large. 5:30pm ? 10:30pm at the Westin Hotel-Grand Ballroom (1900 5th Avenue). Individual tickets are $95 each for Recording Academy members or $150 for non-members and can be purchased through the PNW Chapter office at 206.834.1000 or pacificnw@grammy.com. In addition, a limited number of VIP tickets are available for $250 (members only), which includes access to the VIP reception and preferred seating at the event.
