BMI/IFP Film Music Panel: New York

BMI will present a film music panel at the 27th annual IFP Market being held September 19-22. BMI?s Doreen Ringer Ross, Vice President of Film/TV Music, will moderate the panel, which will take place at the Puck Building Gallery (293 Lafayette Street) from 10:15am?11:45am. Panelists include BMI composers Joseph Vitarelli (Revelations, And Starring Poncho Villa As Himself) and Stewart Copeland (Desperate Housewives, The Amanda Show), Commotion Records co-founder and music supervisor Tracy McKnight (My Architect: A Son?s Journey, Murderball), and director Noah Baumbach (The Squid and the Whale, Mr. Jealousy). The IFP Market film music panel will cover various topics related to the use of music in film, ranging from creative to technical and licensing issues.
