The CCC Presents BMI in the Digital Age Panel: Los Angeles

The California Copyright Conference will host its February dinner meeting where BMI senior executives Alison Smith, Senior VP Performing Rights and Richard Conlon, VP Marketing & Business Development, Media Licensing will discuss the current state of performing rights, both domestically and internationally, including opportunities and challenges in licensing, royalty distribution (such as BMI's new radio distribution methodology) and administration. The panel will also cover trends in licensing and performance income for songwriters, composers and music publishers, new opportunities to market performance rights and current royalty administration in the digital age. The presentation will conclude with BMI's agenda and vision for the future of collective rights administration followed by a question and answer session as time allows.
