Band Talent Search 2003: Los Angeles

Calling all bands! Need booking, management, or indie label representation? Los Angeles Music Productions (LAMP) will present a unique event that will feature a keynote speaker on How to Survive as an Indie Artist, educational panels on artist management, booking and indie labels, a comprehensive song critique, and an artist showcase for four bands. We're looking for urban/r&b, rock/alternative, acoustic/folk/world, and metal/punk. Doors open at 9:30 am. General admission is $75 per band ($95 per band at the door). Secure online registration is available at acteva.com. Not just talk! This event offers real opportunities for bands to be seen by people who need them! 9:30 a.m. to 5:00pm at the Knitting Factory (7021 Hollywood Boulevard). For more info, call Leslie at 800-783-LAMP.
