61st Annual Peabody Awards: New York

The George Foster Peabody Awards will take place at the Waldorf=Astoria Hotel from 11:00am-2:30pm with Master of Ceremonies Walter Cronkite. The Peabody Awards recognize distinguished achievement and meritorious service by radio and television networks, stations, producing organizations, cable television organizations and individuals and are administered by the Henry W. Grady College of Journalism and Mass Communication at the University of Georgia.
