Thelonious Monk Institute’s International Jazz Competition: Washington, DC
The winner of the BMI/Thelonious Monk Institute International Jazz Composers Competition will be announced at the event to be held at Kennedy Center. The award is given each year to the young, aspiring BMI composer who best demonstrates originality, creativity and excellence in jazz composition.
