Working the Web Conference: New York

Presented by the New York Chapter of the Recording Academy, Working the Web: Music, Money & Marketing is a full-day conference for all music professionals, offering Internet strategies and information to help build, shape and prosper in the new music industry. 10 a.m. - 6:30 p.m. at the Park Central Hotel (870 Seventh Ave. @ 55th Street). Panels include: Marketing Artists and Music Online, Your Rights and Your Money and Web-Based Music Models. Advanced ticket sales: $30 for Recording Academy members and students with ID, $50 for nonmembers, $75 on the day of the event. A cocktail party with many of the panelists, demo tables and music will conclude the event (complimentary hors d'oeuvres and cash bar.)
