Milt Laughlin, Senior Vice President, Operations & Information Technology
Milt Laughlin is BMI’s Senior Vice President, Operations &Information Technology.
Laughlin is based in Nashville and was previously Vice President, Operations & Information Technology, a position he held since 2001. Laughlin manages the full spectrum of I/T activities while running a broad gamut of complex and detailed Operations functions that support BMI’s ability to process over one billion performances per quarter quickly, accurately and efficiently.
Since joining BMI in 1994 as Senior Director, Information Technology, Laughlin has worked on distribution and operational systems within the department. He was promoted to Assistant Vice President, Applications Systems in 1998.
Before coming to BMI, he held a number of management positions during 23 years with Capitol/EMI Music and five years with the MCA Music Entertainment Group in Los Angeles.
